The Red carpet walk part may be the favorite of both the fashion designers and fans, this is the only chance that you have the chance to look close at the stars and celebrities without PS and lights. You can feel that they are real, living people rather than pin-up posters. For people in the fashion world or crazy faddists, red carpet is the time to show the fashion trends currently and in the future. Fashion critics will certainly love to take this chance to show their sarcastic tone, some of them can be really merciless. So, let’s focus on the latest big event in the celebrity world, the 2010 Oscar.

Oscar dresses red carpet review of 2010 can be a little complicated, there are some that are surprisingly good, but also some surprisingly bad, but it seems that most of the starts and celebrities take the safe course. There are fashion’s best, worst, and plenty in the Middle on this year’s Academy Awards Red Carpet.

Start with those I like, first of all, Sandra Bullock, the winner of this year’s best actress. I have to say her dress is the most psychic-worthy one, a stunning, gleaming gold (or sliver, I am not very sure) column that was the perfect complement to her Oscar. It seems that she wore this dress knowing that she was going to stand on that stage and took over the prize. Just look at the photos and videos, look at her, she was definitely the queen of that night, beating all the other younger actresses, some of which are really disappointing. The whole outfit is the classic, timeless example for celebrity prom dresses. The fashion gods are so going to talk about this for years.

The other prom gown I particular favorer is the one worn by Carey Mulligan. I am not very familiar with the person, but I definitely adore her red wedding dress. It is a lovely surprise. This is a black, strapless full-size gown. You may say that is normal, even boring, but wrong, because here is the big part, the whole dress is decorated with an unexpected dangling scissors, forks, and spoons, which is totally adorable and modern with her blonde, neat short hair and dramatic earrings. I guess the designers from Prada thought about this brilliant idea when they are eating.

Now, let’s skip the ones that choose the safe course and see the worst ones. Actually, there is only one person that I want to point out, Mile Cyrus. She stood on the stage alongside Amanda Siegfried in Armani Privet. Mile looked really bad not because of the dress. It is the way she was standing.  She was bending lower to the micro speaker, and since she was wearing a low cut, strapless dress, it seems that her breasts are going to drop out of the dress. It may sound mean, but it is true. So, here’s a fashion tip for every girl: stand straight!  When you are wearing a  red wedding dresses, either party dress or wedding dress, please stand up straight with your shoulders back. Or you will look really floppy and lousy. If you can’t, let’s not emphasis sloping shoulders and lousy posture and try one with more structure on top.

So, the Oscar is over now. But the fashion never stops, learn closely of the red carpet selection, avoiding all the inappropriate ways of dressing of the stars. They are the ones that can break the rules of fashion and even create one, you are not. Keep in mind that red carpet is always the best chance to learn how to wear formal  dresses in an appropriate and faddish way.
